Conquer Me


I showed them all of the ways to forget me.
I made them cover up their eyes as they came to take me.
They’re waiting to condemn me,
Unburdened by original sin.
I do this consciously
Because I’ll die for what I believe in.

Someone to never fall short when I’m in need.
Someone to hold me so close and never look back.

Right now this hole is empty.

I spin back to reality, and to what I should do.
